      • Picking objects up
        • You can change the size of objects by using you magic powers. The objects you lift, such as boxes, can then be carried.
        • Pick up objects.
          • While they’re on hand, they can be moved around.
          • Put them down by tossing them.
          • While you’re holding an item, you cannot attack.
        • You can resize objects while tossing them, which can spell death for both your enemies or you, depending on where it lands.
      • Moving forward
        • Make your way to the path at the end of the level.
        • Once the next level loads, you can re-enter the previous level by going back the way you came in.
          • Going back to the previous path will reload the previous level with all the monsters resurrected.
          • There is usually no need to do this, as back tracking is not a big part of this game.
        • You cannot carry things from one level to another.
  • Lives
    • The number of lives you begin with depends on your difficulty level.
      • Each time an enemy or hazard harms you, you lose a life.

    • Collecting life potions not only restores your lives but also gives you an extra one.

    • Platforms
      • Platforms not only include actual wooden platforms but also moving metal ones, as well as objects like boxes.
      • Use platforms to climb up or down parts of the level.

    • Boxes

      • Most buttons act as part of puzzles involving gates.
      • You can step on them yourself or leave them pressed using a box.
      • Some buttons activate a trap. Avoiding it is the key to completing particularly difficult levels
    • Collapsing platforms
      • These appear as metallic hinges very similar to the moving platforms.
      • You can only step on them for a short time before they split apart.
      • They will come back together a short while after you fall off from them.
  • Hazards
    • Spikes
      • Spikes appear in pits and ledges.
      • You lose a life each time you touch them.
    • Acid
      • Acid pools resemble shallow water but cause damage.
      • They can be distinguished by the bubbles that pop out.
      • Hop over them to avoid falling in.
    • Deep water
      • You do not lose health in deep water right away.
      • Get yourself out of deep water before it causes you damage.
    • Shooters
      • Shooters fire bullets at you. Try not to get hit by them.
      • These often (but not always) come in pairs, which shoot in an alternating pattern.
        • When the bottom one shoots, jump; when the top one shoots, stay down.
        • Move past the shooters as quickly as you can.
      • Try to outrun the shots if you must through a room with shooters.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
      • To load a new level, enter the portal somewhere to the right of the current level.
      • To load the previous level, enter the portal you came in from the left.
    • Each time you reload the game, you have the option to reload the latest level you’ve reached. You can also start a new game.
