This is a modern version of the cult classic game Tetris.
- Select which game type you want to play
- desktop or mobile
- Game controls
- Left arrow = move piece left
- Right arrow = move piece right
- Down arrow = drop piece
- Up arrow (or X) = rotate piece clockwise
- Z = rotate piece counter clockwise
- P = pause
- Control = swap piece with stored piece
- Spacebar = drop and lock
- Gameplay
- The current piece is shown at the top of the screen and its outline of where it will fall is shown below the screen.
- The next 4 subsequent pieces are shown on the right side of the screen.
- You score points and increase your level based on how many lines you complete.
- You get more points for completing multiple lines at the same time.
- Getting 4 lines at once is called a Tetris.
- Early in the game when the game speed it slow it is beneficial to go for many Tetris scores & then be more conservative as the game moves faster on higher levels.
- You can store a piece which is hard to play using the Control key.
- The game is not timed, but ends when pieces get to the top of the screen.
- Your web browser automatically stores your high score.
- The current piece is shown at the top of the screen and its outline of where it will fall is shown below the screen.

Much like its predecessor, your goal is to clear lines from an endless stream of falling blocks. These blocks come in odd shapes that you must somehow fit to form the lines necessary to score. This game has the typical Tetris format, but with a modern graphical polish.
A key feature of this version is a mirror of the current piece that appears at the bottom. It gives you a preview of how the piece will fit into the arrangement long before it falls. This can help you find the right place for it well in advance. You also have the option to drop the piece by pressing the spacebar. The game also lets you plan ahead by displaying the next few blocks in advance.
Anyone who’s played Tetris would be familiar with this game. Like the classic version, the objective is to place blocks that cover an entire horizontal line. Once you complete a line, it is automatically canceled. The more lines you cancel, the more points you gain. With Super Tertris, you have to familiarize yourself with the controls. Use the up arrow key to rotate the blocks, and left and right arrows to move their direction. The space bar will instantly place the block down, while the P button pauses the game. If you want slowly to move your block lower, you can press the down arrow button.
There are key features that differentiate Super Tetris from the classic version. First, the next four blocks are shown on the right side of the game. Next, you have the option to swap you block with a different block shown below the puzzle. Just pres the Ctrl key on your keyboard. Finally, there is a watermark image that shows the position of the current block on top if it’s place down. These features help you better plan your next move to score more points.
