• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Press the blue and red start button in the center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
    • On your first play through of the first level a tutorial screen is shown. Select “I got it” at the bottom to begin the first level.
  • The upper right of the welcome screen has buttons for full screen mode, control game sound, and control game music.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select a number tile. Click again (if needed) to deselect it.
    • Click additional number tiles until you have reached the target sum.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select and deselect number tiles.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left has buttons for pausing or resuming play, going home, and restarting the current level.
    • The upper right has buttons for full screen mode, sound control, and music control.
    • The top center shows the level number.
    • Underneath the level number is the numerical target.
    • Right of the numerical target are your hearts, which represents how many you can get wrong or time out before it is game over.
    • Selected tiles are outlined in red.
    • The level select screen shows locked levels in gray, unlocked levels in yellow, and beat levels in green.

  • Basics
    • This is an addition practice game where players must select number tiles which sum to a target number.
      • Players may not go over the target number.
      • You must select 2 or more numbers which sum to a number, rather than selecting a number tile which matches the target sum by itself.
      • Each number must be summed to in a limited amount of time.
  • Levels
    • This game has 15 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
      • Higher levels have more number tiles on them and some higher sum target goals.
      • The first 4 levels show the difference under the target sum, but that feature is removed for the final 11 stages.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a stage by clearing all the number tiles from the stage.
      • You lose if you run out of all 3 heart containers.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
  • Tips
    • When adding to numbers with a memorable common multiple try to select multiple tiles of the common multiple.
      • For example, if you are targeting 21 you can add 7+7+7.
      • When the desired number that is a multiple only has a few matches you can use numbers that are one higher or lower as part of your set. For example, 7 +6 +8 is 21.
    • Early in later levels there are many tiles on the stage and the target sum numbers can be high like 90.
      • When there are many tiles it can help to keep picking 8 or 9 tiles until you are relatively close to the target sum, and then use smaller tiles to complete the sum.
      • If you have trouble keeping track of adding many numbers you can add number pairs that sum to 10 to keep adding 10 at a time until there are less than 10 left to reach the target.
