• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click and drag to move the ship.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and use them as a mouse.
  • Controls and indicators (left to right):
    • Top row:
      • Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio on or off.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Your ship automatically starts firing and moving forward.
    • Move the ship in all directions to shoot more accurately and avoid enemies and hazards.
    • Survive for as long as you can.
  • Health
    • You have a limited amount of health, which is shown on the health bar on the bottom right corner.
    • If the health bar reaches zero, your ship explodes.
      • Enemy fire reduces your ship’s health gradually.
      • Meteoroids reduce your ship’s health in one large chunk.
    • Use repair cycle power ups to restore your ship’s health.
  • Enemies and scoring
    • This game has two types of enemy:
      • Meteoroids
        • These will slowly or quickly come at you.
        • Destroy or dodge them before they crash into your ship.
        • If you crash into them, it’s an instant game over.
      • Enemy ships
        • Travel at the same speed as you but move left and right.
        • Although they won’t approach you, they will shoot back.
        • Different ships have different types of enemy fire.
    • Each meteoroid and enemy ship has a health bar. Whittle this down to zero to win.
    • You earn points just by hitting them.
    • The game records how many ships and meteors you destroyed at the game over screen.
  • Power ups
    • Power ups help you play through the game. These appear as icons trapped in bubbles that approach you.
    • Collect the power ups to use them.
    • Each power up has a different effect:
      • Fire rate changes: Increases the number of shots
      • Wave gun: Fires 3 shots that circle one another
      • Spread gun: Fires 3 shots in different angles that move away from one another
      • Big fat gun: Increases the power and fire rate of your shots
      • Repair cycle: Fixes your ship and replenishes your health bar.
    • The power up bar appears on the bottom left corner each time you use a power up.
      • The bar indicates how long the power up lasts.
