• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Start to begin.
  • Select Music to turn the game’s music on or off.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Left click on the squares to have them switch places.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers, tap on the squares to have them change places.
• Game Play
  • Levels
    • The game has 10 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You start with only the first (tutorial) level unlocked.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • Each time you reload the level, your game starts all over again.
  • Basic rules
    • Move the squares around until the lover penguins can be reunited.
      • Left click and tap on a square to select it.
        • Select another square for the two to switch places.
        • The tiles you select swap places & need not be adjacent tiles.
      • Repeat the process until the 2 penguins are in the same square, or until they will soon be on the same square.
    • The male penguin moves the moment you tap on a second square to switch them.
      • He will automatically move in the direction he is facing until he hits an obstacle or the edge of the screen.
        • When he hits a nonlethal obstacle (like a wall or the edge of the field), he will turn around and move in the other direction.
        • This repeats as long as he encounters nonlethal obstacle.
      • Holes are both a route and a hazard:
        • If there is a tile beneath a hole, the penguin will fall into that tile and carry on with what he’s doing.
        • If there isn’t, he plummets to his doom you fail the level.
        • If the penguin is walking right when falling through a hole it will walk left on the tile below.
          • If he is walking left he will turn right after falling.
      • Do not let him hit a hazard like a bomb or spikes. You will fail the level if you do.
        • This game offers unlimited continues.
    • Buttons
      • Some levels have buttons on them you need to walk on to melt ice cubes to make keys or other aspects of the level accessible.
    • Locked squares
      • You cannot move locked squares.
        • Locked squares with a silver lock are fixed in place & can never be swapped.
        • It is possible to unlock a square with a gold lock to make it movable by collecting the gold key.
  • Tips
    • Use the outer boundary and nonlethal obstacles to your advantage to limit the penguin’s walking path until you get the other tiles organized.
    • You can move the tile the penguin is standing on at the moment.
    • If the female penguin has silver floating mines above her and those do not allow you to fall down onto the tile you may need to move a tile alongside her so that you walk into her tile.
