• Starting the Game
  • Select the Play button on the right side of the welcome screen to start the game.
  • Under the Play button are buttons for how to play Help, High Scores, and More Games.
  • The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.

    • Use your mouse left click button to select a stone & then select an identical matching stone to remove the pair.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select an open stone & then select a matching stone to remove them.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The right rail of the game contains the game controls.
      • At the top are 4 buttons for full screen mode, sound control, music control and pausing the game.
      • Next are indicators for cumulative score, level number, remaining open matches, and level timer.
      • At the bottom of the right column are buttons for shuffling tiles, undoing moves, and requesting hints.

  • Stone matching
    • Stones are all Christmas themed, containing items like: Christmas trees, Santa Clause, ornaments, candy canes, presents, gingerbread men, mistletoe, and mittens.
    • Matches must be identical, even though some tiles look quite similar.
      • A Christmas tree with a star on it can only match a Christmas tree with a star on it.
      • A Christmas tree with snow on it can only match a Christmas tree with snow on it.
    • You can only match open stones.
      • Open stones have no stones on top of them & either the left or right side is free.
      • Open stones are highlighted in a brighter background color while stones that are not open have a darker gray background color.
    • If no open matches remain available the game will automatically shuffle the remaining stones.
  • Levels
    • This game has 20 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
    • Each stage has a unique board layout and time limit.
      • The first level gives you 2:05 to clear the stack.
      • Levels give you more time to beat them as you advance through the game.
        • Each level gives you 5 more seconds than the prior level.
        • For example, level 5 gives you 2:25.
      • If you run out of time on a level you will be given the option to end your game or try playing the level again.
    • You can not go back and replay previously beat levels unless you start the game over from the first stage.
  • Scoring
    • Your game score is cumulative across levels.
    • Scoring points
      • Each tile pair you make is worth 100 points.
      • Each second you have remaining when you beat a level is worth 30 points.
    • Spending points
      • Shuffling tiles costs 500 points.
      • Hints cost 300 points.
      • Undoing a move costs 100 points.
