• Starting the Game
  • Select the Play button in the lower left of the game’s welcome screen to start playing.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser saves your game progress including beat levels and level scores.
  • Near the play button there are buttons for how to play help advice, game high scores, and more games to play.
  • In the lower left corner of the game’s welcome screen is a language select drop down.
  • In the lower right corner of the game’s welcome screen are buttons for sharing the game on social networks and reading game developer information.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Select a stone with your mouse left click button then select a matching stone which can be connected by a straight line that does not through other stones or a line that turns at 90 degrees up to two times without running through other stones.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Touch the screen with a finger to select matching stones to remove them.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Across the top of the screen the game shows your level number, current level score, and remaining level time.
    • To the right of the top indicators there are 4 buttons to switch to full screen mode, pause the game, control game sound, and control game music.
    • Bonus items buttons are located in the right rail. These buttons have numbers to their right which indicate how many uses you have left of each & the buttons turn gray when all credits are used up.
      • Question mark – hints button which highlights a matching pair of stones
      • Crossing arrows – shuffle remaining tiles
      • Hourglass – add 30 seconds to your remaining level time (up to a maximum of 3 minutes)
      • Cannon – destroys multiple stone pair
      • Sword – destroys a stone pair
    • The level select screen shows which levels you have completed, what score you earned on each level, and what your cumulative game score is.
• Game Play
  • Matching stones
    • You can connect any of the following:2 directly adjacent identical stones
    • 2 identical stones which can be connected with a straight line that does not through any other stones
    • 2 identical stones which can be connected with a line that turns 90 degrees once or twice while also not ing through any other stones
    • Most stone matches must be identical, though some flower stones can be matched with other floral stones having a slightly different design.

      • floral stones without the red marking in the upper left corner can be matched with other floral stones without the red marking
  • Play tips
    • The easiest tiles to match are corner tiles, since they can match across or vertically.
    • The next easiest tiles to match are other edge pieces, then center pieces.
    • On levels which do not fill in it is best to try to create gaps between columns or rows so that almost every tile which is shown is open & can be matched.
    • On levels which fill int it is best to work on stone matches which are orthogonal to the fill direction & are at the far side of the level.
    • Most levels in this game do not fill in, though some do fill in one direction or another.
  • Levels
    • This game has 30 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
    • Levels are considered beat when you remove all tiles from the level.
      • If no matches are possible the game will automatically shuffle the tiles for you.
      • If the tiles do not shuffle it means there is still at least one available match.
      • After beating each level you are given a spin to earn a bonus item.
    • You are given 3 minutes to beat each level.
      • Each time you make a match it adds up to 7 seconds to your remaining level time, with a hard cap at 3 minutes.
      • If you fail a level you can choose to end your game or replay the level.
    • Level difficulty
      • Early in the game there are plenty of empty spaces to make connecting lines and the tiles do not fill.
      • By the time you get to level 6 the board is full of stones.
      • Starting on level 7 stones can fill left, right, up, or down in some of the subsequent stages.
    • Continuing after losing
      • When you continue after losing you get the same bonus credits you had when you went into the current level you lost on.
      • If your bonus credits are depleted you can refresh the web browser & then select an easier early level from the level select screen to beat again to earn another bonus credit.
  • Scoring
    • Your game score is cumulative across levels.
    • Each tile match you make is worth 20 points.
    • You also earn bonus points for finishing levels quickly. Each second you have remaining when you complete a level is worth 30 points.
    • Using bonus tiles does not cost you points, but you only earn 1 random bonus credit after beating each level.
