• Starting the Game
  • Select the Play button on the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • Near the Play button are buttons for how to play Help, High Scores, and More Games.
  • The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.
  • The lower right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for controlling game settings, sharing the game on social networks, and reading game developer information.

    • Use your mouse left click button to select an open stone then select identical matching stone.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to select a stone, then tap again to select an identical matching stone.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The right rail of the game shows your current level number and level score at the top.
    • The bottom of the right rail has buttons for taking hints, shuffling stones, pausing the game, switching to full screen mode, controlling game sound, and controlling game music.
    • The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked & what scores you earned on the levels you beat.
• Game Play
  • Stone matching
    • Pair identical matching tiles to remove them from the board.
    • You can only match open stones.
      • Open stones are stones which do not have a stone directly atop them and either the left or right side is free.
      • You can only select open tiles.
        • The border on open tiles turns green when they are selected.
    • If you do not make a pair for an extended period of time a matching pair of stones moves slightly to highlight a match you can make.
  • Levels
    • This game has a total of 30 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • Levels are designed quite simply with the first stage only having 4 stone pairs on it.
      • Later levels grow more complex, yet remain relatively simple compared to most of our Mahjong Solitaire games. By the time you get 10 levels into the game there is only 15 tile pairs to match.
      • After a couple levels some stones are in stacks and the fourth level introduces the concept of open vs closed tiles by having some tiles next to each other with no open side on a tile.
    • You can replay previously beat levels by selecting them from the level select screen.
    • The game does not show a timer on levels, however you score a time-based bonus by clearing the level quickly.
  • Scoring
    • Your game score is cumulative across levels.
    • Scoring points
      • Each tile pair you match is worth 100 points.
      • You score a level-based bonus for finishing levels quickly. If you are an experienced player you will typically get a couple thousand point time bonus on each stage.
    • Spending points
      • Hints cost 150 points.
      • Manually shuffling tiles costs 500 points.
