• Starting the Game
  • Select Play on the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    • Use your mouse left click button to select an open stone & then select an identically matching open stone to remove the pair from the board.

    • Tap the screen with a finger to select an open stone & then select an identically matching open stone to remove the pair from the board.

    • The left rail of the game shows your level score, the number of open remaining matches, and your current level number.
    • The right rial of the game has buttons for sound control, music control, pausing the game, shuffling stones, taking a hint, and switching to full screen play.

  • Stone matching
    • Identical
      • You can only match identical stones in this game.
      • When you select a stone it is highlighted in green.
        • If you select a second matching stone they are paired off and removed from the playing field.
        • If you select a second stone that does not match the first then the first stone is deselected.
    • Open
      • You can only match free stones in this game.
      • A free stone has no stone on top of it, and at least one side (left or right) is free of adjacent stones.
      • Stones which are not free have a blue background color.
    • Tile filling
      • As you make stone matches the remaining stones on the board fill inward toward the center.
      • This means you should make matches that might disappear on a fill before making other matches.
    • Remaining stone matches
      • The game shows how many remaining open matches exist at any point in time.
      • Watching how the remaining matches number changes as you make moves gives you clues to if your move opened up new available plays.
  • Levels
    • This game has 21 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a higher score on them.
    • Autoshuffle
      • If no valid matches remain and shuffling the tiles can create a valid match the game will automatically shuffle the remaining tiles.
      • Automated shuffles do not cost you points.
    • You beat each level by clearing it of stones.
      • If a level has multiple stones remaining and they have a common stone above them to where a shuffle can not create a valid set the level is also considered beat.
  • Scoring
    • Your game score is cumulative across levels.
      • Your level scores tend to increase as you progress through the game as later sttages have more stones to match.
    • Scoring points
      • You score points each time you match a pair of tiles.
      • Your score for each set depends upon how much time it took you to make the set since you made the prior match.
    • Spending points
      • Shuffling stones costs 100 points.
