• Starting the Game
  • Select the orange arrow on the bottom of the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Select the orange arrow on the bottom of the game’s welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels and star rating for each level.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right corner, a game developer information button in the lower left, and a more games button in the lower right.

    • Use your mouse left click button to select anywhere on the screen. Then slide your mouse across the screen, and release the left click to shoot the ball.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Drag your finger across the screen and release to place a force on the ball.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner shows how many of the 3 stars you have collected on the current play.
    • The upper right corner has 3 buttons for return to level select menu, restart level, and sound control.
    • The level complete screen shows the star rating you just earned, the level number you just played, and has 3 buttons at the bottom for return to level select menu, advance to next level, and replay the level you just completed.
    • The level select screen shows which levels are unlocked & what star rating was earned on each level you beat.

  • Basics
    • This is a ball bouncing game where you get a single shot to apply the force needed to get the ball to rest in the basket.
    • You can select anywhere on the screen to apply the force, and can set both the direction and angle by how far you move your mouse or finger on the level.
  • Levels
    • This game has 24 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by getting the ball into the tray.
      • You lose a level if the ball falls off platform.
      • This game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of any level you lost.
      • If a ball gets stuck & is moving slow but won’t make it into the tray you can press the level reset button to restart the stage.
  • Star ratings
    • Each level has 3 stars in it, for a total of 72 stars in the game.
      • You can beat a level without grabbing all 3 stars – you can even beat a level with zero stars.
      • When you collect stars they only apply to your rating if you also beat the level on that play.
    • When you go back to re-beat a level to try to earn a higher star rating on it you would need to collect all 3 stars on a single play to get a 3 star rating (you can’t just collect the stars which were missed).
  • Tips
    • Grabbing location
      • When you apply force you are not required to grab directly atop the ball.
      • You can select anywhere on the screen.
    • Force and angle
      • If you had a shot which was close but barely missed try to change only the force or the angle of your shot rather than changing both at once.
        • Significantly changing both at the same time is likely to lead to another miss.
      • When you grab on the screen you can start your grab at a position on a platform or any other part of the screen and use the platforms or other level aspects like rulers to help you adjust your force and angle.
    • Stars
      • If you get fewer than 3 stars on a stage you can skip it and play through the remainder of the stages then come back to it later.
      • The stars can be seen as challenging obstacles to figure out how to achieve, but they can also be used as hints to think of a potential way to beat each stage.
        • In many cases you need to bounce the ball in the opposite direction you might think is optimal so that you can adjust the approach angle.
