• Starting the Game
  • Select the Play button on the right side of welcome screen to start the game.
  • Under the Play button are buttons for how to play Help, High Scores, and More Games.
  • The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.
  • The lower right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for social sharing and reading game developer information.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select a stone which can be reached from one or more side of the screen (left, right, top or bottom). Select an identically matching stone which can also be reached to remove the pair.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the stones on the screen with a finger to select them for removal.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The right rail of the game contains the controls.
      • At the top it shows your cumulative game score, level number, and remaining level time.
      • At the bottom there are buttons to pause the game, switch to full screen mode, control game sound, and control game music.
• Game Play
  • Stone matching
    • Stone matches must be identical.
      • You must match a specific type of seashell with the same type of shell rather than matching different types of shells.
    • In normal Mahjong Solitaire you can only match free stones, which means a stone that has no stone on top of it and at least one side (left or right) free of adjacent stones. This game puts a spin on that by instead requiring a clear vertical or horizontal path to the edge of the screen which does not through any other stone.
    • You can only match stones where each of them can be reached from at least one side of the screen (including top or bottom along with left and right).
      • Both stones can be grabbed from the same side, or grabbed from different directions.
      • As you remove some stones from the board you open up other stones for removal.
  • Levels
    • This game has 40 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
    • Each level has a unique board layout and level timer.
      • The first level gives you 2:22 to remove 36 stones or 18 stone pairs.
      • Level timers are generally short, though the timer can move in either direction.
        • By the time you get to level 5 there is a 1:23 limit to remove 42 stones or 21 stone pairs & level 10 has a 1:15 time limit.
      • As you play through the levels deeper into the game it makes more sense to try to focus on tiles close to the edge of the level until you get the level opened up a bit.
    • You can’t go back and replay previously beat levels without starting the game over from the first level.
  • End game vs continues
    • If you do not beat a level on time it shows an “End Game” button. If you click that button it ends your game and you can submit your cumulative game score.
    • If you would like to continue your game rather than ending it, do not click the “End Game” button & instead refresh your web browser window, then click on the Play button on the welcome screen and you will be offered a chance to Continue Previous Game.
  • Scoring
    • Your game score is cumulative across levels.
      • It is generally easier to score more points on later levels as you have a longer timer and there are more stones to remove.
    • Earn 100 points for each stone pair you match.
      • You can earn a combo multiplier on your removal score by removing multiple sets of same type of stones consecutively.
      • Remove 2 of the same type of set and get a 2x bonus, remove 3 and get a 3x bonus.
    • Earn 100 points for each second you have remaining when you beat a level.

  • The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Solitaire tile match games.
