• Starting the Game
  • Select the yellow play button at the bottom center of the screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    • Use your mouse left click button to jump.
    • Press once to jump once, and press twice to jump twice.
    • Click on the left side of the screen to jump left & click on the right side of the screen to jump right.

    • Tap on the right side of the screen to jump right.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper right corner of the screen has a pause button.

  • Basics
    • The goal of this game is to get the ninja to the checkered flag at the end of each stage without having him touch the lava.
    • The ninja can only move by jumping – either via single jump or a double jump.
  • Obstacles
    • In addition to flat platforms there are a couple other wrinkles in the game.
      • Firey floor – instant death.
      • Spiked balls – these move on a chain & require you to go over or under them to make it to the flag at the end of each stage.
      • Fireballs – some of the later levels in the game have horizontal or vertical fireballs which repeatedly fly at you periodically. Time your jumps and movements so you do not run into them.
      • Uneven platforms – these act like ordinary platforms in of allowing you to jump again & resetting your jump count, but they slide you down in the direction they are tilting.
      • Springs – these cause you to bounce repeatedly directly upward, unless you jump again to either side.
  • Levels
    • This game has 20 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
      • Each level has a unique layout.
      • Levels are not timed.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win by making it to the checkered flag at the end of each stage.
      • You lose if you run into lava, a fireball, or a spiked ball.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, restarting you at the beginning of any level you lost.
  • Tips
    • Adjustments
      • Sometimes if it feels your jump is throwing you off course and into the lava it can help to jump in the opposite direction first & use the wall as a stop to reset your positioning.
      • Similarly, further into some levels it can make sense to jump into a wall and then time the second jump after the wall absorbs some of your lateral momentum.
    • When you double jump the timing of the second jump impacts how far out you will go on your jump.
      • If you need to travel a shorter distance it can make sense to tap twice quickly.
      • If you need to travel a longer distance it can help to do the second jump when you are at the apex of the first jump.
    • The game is not timed so there is no need to rush through the stages.
      • You can wait for perfect timing to jump when going across an area with fireballs or the large spiked metal ball.
      • Be aware that some of the springs will put you in the way of fire, so you’ll need to time the move onto them so that you can quickly get off them.
