This is a beautiful space shooter game where you are the Earth and moon attempting to defend yourself from evil planets which attack by ramming you from all directions.
Use your mouse position and click, the arrows on your keyboard, or your touchscreen to point your Earth guns toward an approaching evil planet.
Repeat the process for other evil planets after you have killed the first star you were shooting at.
Work your way through the 10-level game while collecting power ups.

Use a touchscreen, arrow keys on your keyboard, or mouse to change the direction of your shot to point it at approaching evil planets to defend Earth from collisions.
Starting the Game
Click on the screen to start the game.
Playing the Game
Use a touchscreen, arrow keys on your keyboard, or mouse to change the direction of your shot to point it at approaching evil planets to defend Earth from incoming stars.
You control where the Earth’s shot is directed. The moon typically tracks the direction of Earth’s shot with a lag, but you do not control it directly.
Different enemies move at different speeds.
Red planets move fast and do not stop if hit.
Yellow planets move at average speed and do not stop if hit.
Orange planets move slow and stop near the Earth so long as you are constantly firing upon them.
When you kill off enemies it gives you both health and experience which can be used to buy further upgrades.
Your health is shown on the left edge of the screen.
Your experience is shown on the right side of the screen.
Strategy
This game has 10 levels. If you die on a level you can repeat it.
There is a pause button in the upper left corner if you need to use it to strategize your approach when many enemies appear at once.
In general, since the small red enemies move quickly it can be worth it to keep spinning your guns around to hit them first.
If there are more enemies than you will be able to kill it can make sense to decide to accept that upfront and (after killing off the fast-moving red enemies) focus on killing off the slower moving orange enemies before they get to you.
If multiple enemies which are black with red spots approach and are near each other you can focus on killing one of them and if the others are near it the one blowing up will blow up the neighboring enemies.
The planets with the maroon color and a white curved pause symbol on them can not be killed by Earth or the moon. The Earth shots go through it, but if the moon shoots it enough then that planet will stop moving toward you and then back away.
This game has power ups. You gain energy or credit for purchasing power ups by killing off enemies and for collecting smaller stars that are in bubbles.
Pink heart – health
Yellow fire – shot strength
Blue arrow – how fast you can turn your guns
When you get the health power up it not only extends your total energy carrying capacity but also gives you full health.
Upgrading your shot strength and health are vital. The turn speed is much less important as when you have weaker guns you are stuck firing in one direction most the time and still unable to kill most the enemies.
Ending
Spoiler alert: the game has a beautiful ending.
In the last level a super giant maroon planet attacks and the moon detaches from the earth to run into it to cause an explosion then a half moon rests in the sky.

This is an unconventional tower defense game where you play as the Earth and Moon. Armageddon is upon the Earth as planetoids approach it from every angle. The Earth and moon must blast these elements as they approach. This is easier said than done. You move the Earth and Moon by clicking and dragging your mouse. Earth moves slowly. You’ll have a difficult time putting the planet into a position where it can attack. The slow controls make this a very difficult game to get into and master. It’s a shooter for those who can maneuver with speed and precision.
Earth Attack is a fun and engaging shooting defense game. I like the concept of Earth and Moon fighting together to defeat attacking planets. The idea is to shoot planets that close in from random directions. The Earth and Moon are positioned at the center of the screen. The Earth blasts 2 parallel shots automatically. Meanwhile, the small Moon tracks your shots. It can shoot at the opposite side while you are shooting a planet in front of you. You simply have to rotate to shoot your desired direction.
What’s tricky about this game is the slow responsive controls. It’s a lot harder to rotate using a mouse. I find it easier to use the left and right arrow keys. But all the same, it takes a while for it to rotate towards your target. Watch out for red planetoids that crash directly towards you.
As you progress through each level, brace yourself for more planets, big and small, moving fast. Be sure to catch power ups: pink heart (health), yellow fire (shot strength), and blue arrow (rotate faster). Collecting power ups allows you to upgrade your defenses. If you die in a level, you can play it again. You can take your time to finish all ten levels.
