  • Generating puzzles
    • The game generates a different puzzle for every day of the year.

  • Objectives
    • The game is a letter version of the classic game Sudoku. Your goal is to fill the entire 9 x 9 grid with 9 letters.
    • You start the game with a few given letters.
      • Use these as clues to deduce the location and identity of the other letters.
      • The harder your difficulty level, the fewer given letters you start with.
    • No letter should repeat in any row, column, or square.
    • The highlighted diagonal line will form a 9-letter word.
      • Your secondary goal is to identify this word.
      • It is possible for you to solve this before finishing the entire puzzle.
  • Input
    • Select a cell to make it active. You can only place in answers in an active cell.
    • You can place in candidate (guess) answers before placing in your final answer.
      • Candidate letters are small. You can have several of them at once.
      • As you eliminate guesses, you can remove candidate numbers until you have one left.
    • To remove candidates, clear the cell and add in the remaining candidate answers.
    • If you only have a single candidate left, select that same letter again to make it your final answer
