    • You are a traveler that came across a village plundered and burned by a dragon.
    • To restore a town, you must harvest crystals. Crystals are used to rejuvenate buildings.
      • You must harvest several waves’ worth of crystals to restore the town’s buildings.
      • The progress you make is shown at the end of each level.
  • Basic rules
    • The game, for the most part, follows the standard rules of mahjong connect games.
      • You must find a pair of identical crystals to harvest them.
      • Select one crystal, then select another to harvest them.
      • The pair of crystals must have a clear path between them, which can have no more than one (1) right angle bend at any point.
      • Clear all the crystals onscreen before the timer expires to end the wave.
        • Each time you harvest a pair of crystals, a few seconds of time are added onto the timer.
        • If you run out of valid pairs, the game will automatically shuffle the crystals around.
    • Each of the game’s levels consist of a wave.
      • A wave consists of a single grid of crystals.
        • There are two waves in each level.
        • The timer applies to both waves in a level. Don’t spend too long on a single level.
      • Beat the level by finishing both waves.
    • There are other factors to consider when harvesting crystals.
      • Crystals can come in many colors and shapes. Identical crystals must be of the same shape and color.
      • Some crystals are trapped in thickets.
        • To clear a thicket, you must harvest adjacent crystals next to it.
        • Crystals trapped in thickets cannot be shuffled.
        • Some thickets have no crystals and merely block the path between other crystals.
      • The dragon is still at large and will set fire to the crystals.
        • The dragon’s periodic burning of your crystals is shown by the skull traveling up and down the timer bar.
        • You have 30 seconds to harvest burning crystals.
          • A timer appears on the crystal as it burns
          • Clear them as soon as you can.
        • If the 30-second time expires, the crystal is lost.
          • You can use the pickaxe power up to stop the crystal’s countdown.
  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Each level unlocked has two rewards:
      • Bonus power ups after 3 (later 5) levels completed.
      • One step closer to restoring a building.
    • You can only replay the level you finished the soonest.
  • Losing
    • You will lose the level if the following conditions are met:
      • You run out of time.
      • Crystals set ablaze aren’t harvested or pickaxed in time.
      • At least one of the last pairs of crystals remain trapped in thickets.
    • If you lose the level, you have the option of playing it all over again.
  • Power ups
    • The game has 4 power ups
      • Hint: Shows you a valid pair of crystals on demand without waiting for the game to do it for you
      • Shuffle: Moves the crystals around without waiting for the game to do it automatically
      • Timer: Adds a few more seconds to your timer bar
      • Pickaxe: Stops the countdown on a burning crystal immediately
    • Select a power up’s icon to use it.
    • You begin the game with 3 of each power up and gain more as a reward for completing a set number of levels.
    • The game indicates that you can double your power ups after every reward by watching an ad.
      • It also indicates that you can get 1 power up by the same means.
      • However, ads are currently disabled on this site, so the game’s bonus function is currently inoperable.
