• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button to begin.
    • Select the gear button to open the game’s audio controls. Use this to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
    • Select the enlarge button on the top right corner to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.

    • With your mouse:
      • Move the cursor to aim.
      • Left click to shoot.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • With your fingers, tap on the screen to shoot. The bubble will go in the direction your finger was on.
  • Controls and indicators

        • Speaker button: Turns the game’s sound effects on or off

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Shoot colored bubbles at the stack.
      • Form groups of 3 or more identical bubbles by shooting to clear them.
      • If any bubble is attached to a group you clear, these too will fall.
    • To clear the level, shoot the multicolored star bubble with any of the bubbles you have on hand.
    • Clear the level before the timer runs out.
    • Don’t let the stack of bubbles reach the lower half of the screen.
      • A warning will appear on the bubble closest to the bottom. That should be your cue to try and remove it.
      • If the stack falls to the lower row it’s game over.
  • Levels
    • You start with only the first level unlocked.
      • Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
      • The first four levels act as a tutorial for the entire game.
    • Each time you reload the game, you start from the very beginning.
    • If you lose a level it is game over.
      • If you are about to lose a level you can click into the menu in the lower right corner before losing & then restart the current level from the beginning.
  • Scoring
    • You earn points based on the number of bubbles you pop at once.
      • The first bubble popped as part of a sequence is worth 5 points.
      • Each subsequent bubble is worth a multiple of 5, following this sequence: 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1,000.
        • You can earn up to a max of 1,000 points per ball.
        • Every subsequent ball after the first 1,000 is also worth 1,000 each.
        • You gain no points from bubbles that fall off the stack because they were attached to a group you cleared.
    • The star bubble itself is worth 5,000 points.
    • You also receive bonus points from the remaining time and the percentage of the stack you’ve cleared.
    • You can view your current and best scores on the game over screen.
  • Power ups
    • Pop each power up bubble to gain a bonus.
      • Bomb power ups create an explosion that clears surrounding bubbles.
      • Lightning power ups clear an entire horizontal row of bubbles.
      • Rainbow power ups grant you 3 rainbow bubbles, which you can use to clear bubbles of any color. A rainbow bubble can match multiple different colors at the same time.
      • Timer power ups slow down the timer & the rate at which the bubbles fall.
    • You can pop a power up bubble with a bubble of any color.
      • Activating the power bubble clears all other bubbles from the level.
      • You cannot activate a power up bubble if it falls down.
