• Starting the Game
  • On the setup screen, select any of the options to begin.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to select a fruit. Drag and drop the fruit to the hippo’s mouth.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and use them as a mouse.
  • Controls and indicators (top left corner, top-down)
    • Enlarge button: Lets you switch from windowed and full screen modes
    • Reset button: Starts the game from the beginning
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Choose a fruit to feed the hippo by spinning the wheel.
      • Left click or tap on the wheel to spin it.
      • The fruit you should feed the hippo will be the one the arrow points at.
      • Select the correct fruit from the shelves on the left and drop it on the hippo’s mouth.
    • Keep feeding the hippo until they burst.
  • Cards
    • Before you begin the game, you must pick a category.
    • There are 5 categories on the setup screen.
      • Language: Sentences based on words that ask questions.
      • CVC: Vowels
      • Initial: Consonant sounds that appear at the beginning of the word
      • Medial: Consonant sounds that appear at the middle of a word
      • Final: Consonant sounds that appear at the end of a word
    • To read the words or sentences, left click or tap on the cards on the bottom right corner.
    • You can choose to read them out loud.
