• Starting the Game

  • Basic rules
    • Select a pair of identical beach-themed Mahjong stones to remove them from the stack.
      • Tiles can feature surfboards, sailboats, cocktails, sea shells, lighthouses, beach chairs, beach balls, donuts, suntan lotion, palm trees, starfish, fish, and more.
      • Some tiles show multiple of an item on them. You must match the identical tiles with the same quantity of the same item.
    • You can only pair free stones.
      • Free stones have no stone above them and at least one side (left or right) without an adjacent stone.
      • In this game, free stones are tinted white, while non-free stones are tinted purple.
    • Autoshuffle
      • If no valid matches remain the board is automatically shuffled.
      • This means at least one valid match is always available until the level is completed.
      • Automated shuffles do not cost you points.
    • Clear the entire stack before the level’s timer expires.
      • You start with 7 minutes on the clock on the first level.
      • Later levels have a shorter time limit, with the timer decreasing 20 seconds per stage.
      • You fail the level if you don’t clear all the stones in time.
        • If you want, you can opt to try the level again.
        • Otherwise, you can end your playthrough. This lets you save your score in the leaderboard.
  • Scoring
    • Scoring is cumulative in this game. Your score from one level carries over to the next.
    • Every pair of tiles you clear adds 95 points to your score.
    • After finishing, you also receive 30 points for every second remaining on the timer.
    • There are 2 ways to save your score:
      • Play through all 12 levels.
      • End the playthrough after a game over.
  • Assistance
    • If you’re ever stuck, you can use hints and shuffles to help you out.
      • You have an unlimited number of hints and shuffles.
      • Selecting the hint button will show you any valid pair of tiles.
      • Shuffles rearrange the stones on the stack.
        • This is useful if you want to make more obvious pairs available.
        • The game automatically shuffles the stack with no point penalty if you run out of moves.
    • However, hints and manual shuffles cost points. Use them sparingly.
      • Hints cost 100 points.
      • Manual shuffles cost 500 points.
