    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.

  • Basic rules
    • Pop as many balloons as you can using the blade.
      • Select and pull back the blade, then release to launch.
      • Aim the blade in a way that allows it to bounce around the enclosed space.
      • The level ends when you pop all the balloons or the blade starts bouncing.
    • The number of balloons you pop determines your star rating.
      • Your star rating is measured by the bar on the top center.
      • The bar fills as the blade pops balloons. To earn a star, you must pop enough balloons to reach the lines shown in the bar.
      • To clear the level, you must pop enough balloons to earn 1 star.
      • The highest star rating you can receive is 3 stars.
    • Use the points and keys you’ve earned to unlock new skins for the balloons and blades.

    • Portals
      • These are black circles which allow you to transport the blade somewhere else.
    • Stoppers
      • Stoppers act as smaller versions of walls.
      • You will often need to fire the blade at a specific angle to have it hit the black circle.
    • Redirection bars
      • These look like a set of angle brackets.
      • The direction each bracket points indicates the direction they take the blade.
      • There can be more than one set of redirection bars in a level.
      • Redirection bars can also take the place of walls.
  • Unlockables
    • In general
      • You can unlock new balloons and blades as you play the game.
      • New items are unlocked at random. Use keys and points to gain the chance to unlock them.
      • These changes are largely cosmetic. A new set of balloons won’t necessarily be harder to pop. Neither would new blades cut better.
    • Coins
      • Coins are used to unlock new blade skins.
        • You earn coins based on the number of balloons you’ve popped after clearing a level.
        • You also earn a multiplier based on a minigame.
          • Stop the arrow in the meter below your initial winnings to apply a multiplier.
          • You can earn between 2, 3, and 5 times the number of coins you’ve won, depending on where you stop the arrow.
      • Earn enough coins to unlock new blades.
      • As you unlock blades, the next blade you unlock becomes more expensive.
    • Chest room
      • To unlock the chest room, you must earn 3 keys from each level.
      • After earning the keys, you will enter the chest room after finishing the level.
      • The chest room is composed of 9 chests.
        • Unlock each chest with a key.
        • You get 3 tries and 3 chances to unlock everything. You have a 1 in 3 chance of unlocking a new balloon skin on your first set of tries.
        • Select the try button again to gain 3 more tries.
      • You can either win a new balloon skin or a pile of coins with each chest you open.
        • The chest room automatically closes when you find a new skin.
