• Starting the Game
  • Select the Play button on the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select a ball stack to toss the number of balls shown on the stack in the direction of the arrow.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with a finger to select a ball stack to toss the number of balls shown on the stack in the direction of the arrow.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Each stack of balls has a count on it which tells you how many balls there are & there is an arrow which shows what direction the balls will pour in.
    • Empty slots are gray. Filled in slots are blue.
    • Game controls are across the top.
      • The left has buttons for home & level select.
      • The current level number is shown in the top center.
      • The right has a restart level button.
    • The level select screen shows which levels are unlocked.
• Game Play
  • Levels
    • This game has 50 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay any beat level at any point in time.
    • Failing
      • You fail a level if you pour the balls in the wrong order, causing some of the balls to fall out of the puzzle.
      • If you fail a level you can continue and retry it an unlimited number of times.
      • If you notice an error before losing a ball you can select the level restart button to start the levle over again.
  • Playing
    • Select a stack of balls to toss them in the direction of the arrow.
    • Balls will fill in the first open (gray) slot first, and then fill in the next open slot until all the balls in the stack have been exhausted.
  • Strategy
    • Start with certainties.
      • If you see a stack of 2 and there are only 2 gray slots on the row or column they will pour into you can play those straight away.
      • Similarly, if you see a row of 6 gray cells and there is a 4 stack on one side & a 2 stack on the other side you can play both straight away.
      • The reason you must do these certainties first is if you pour any other balls into the row or column from an orthogonal position it means when you play the balls in that row or column it will overflow, you will lose a ball, and you will not have enough balls remaining to complete the level.
      • After you complete one certainty look at balls from the opposite direction which share the path to see if you turn any of those other stacks into a certainty.
    • Consider edges
      • If there are edges of the board which can only be reached from one direction then you have to ensure enough of the balls remain to reach the far edge of the board.
