• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • At the bottom center of the welcome screen:
    • Select Play to begin.
    • Select Shop to open the shop screen.
  • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
    • Your cash, kills, and rounds appear on the top left corner of the welcome screen.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You start at the left while the monsters begin on the right.
    • Shoot down and kill as many monsters as you can.
      • Aim at the monsters with care.
      • Release your click or tap to shoot at the right angle.
      • Make sure the monster is within the target of your cursor or fingers before shooting.
    • Monsters behave differently.
      • Some monsters go down in 1 hit, while others need at least 2.
      • Some monsters can go invisible.
      • Monsters may be stationary, jump, or fly up and down
    • The monsters will not move toward you until you’ve made a shot.
    • Once the monsters get close enough, they will attack.
  • Hit points
    • You start the game with 5 hit points.
    • Each time a monster attacks you, you lose a hit point.
    • Lose all your hit points and the monsters knock you out; game over.
    • On the game over screen, select Hunt Again to return to the welcome screen
  • Statistics
    • Your score is divided into two statistics.
      • Kills refer to the number of creatures you killed. This is represented by a cartoon skull.
      • Rounds refers to the number of arrows you’ve shot. This is represented by a ribbon.
    • Survival increases the number of both of these.
      • Ideally, you should kill the monsters before they get to you.
      • The more successful rounds you shoot, the more monsters you kill.
      • The number of rounds you make will almost always be higher than the kill count. This is because even if you hit all the monsters, some of them have 2 or more hit points.
    • The game will alert you on the game over screen each time you beat your previous record.
  • Special arrows and potions
    • Overview
      • You earn a varying amount of cash based on the number and strength of the monster. The stronger the monster, the more cash it’s worth.
      • Use the cash you earned from slaying monsters to buy more of them.
      • Go to the shop window to buy these items from the shop.
      • You can choose to equip them at the start of every round by selecting them.
    • Double shot
      • This adds +1 damage to your shot.
      • It also allows you to shoot the monsters one more without them getting closer.
    • Twin arrows
      • This lets you shoot two arrows simultaneously in two directions.
      • This is ideal for flying enemies with ground-based enemies below them.
    • Phantom arrows
      • This one instantly kills a monster it hits.
    • Lightning arc
      • This arrow instantly kills two monsters after hitting one.
    • Life elixir
      • This restores your hit points and gives you another chance at surviving a few more rounds.
