• Starting the Game
  • Press the PLAY button in the lower center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    • This is a simple platformer game where you try to make it to the flag without dying.
    • Light switch
      • As an added twist on this game compared to most platformers each level has 2 different views depending on the status of the light switch.
      • In some cases you can easily beat a level by being in one version of the level or the other version, though on most stages you need to switch back and forth between light states to safely make it to the exit.
      • Typically you only need to change light states once at most on most jumps or falls, though in some cases you need to rapidly change back and forth multiple times on a single jump.
    • Hazards
      • Spikes are dangerous. Touching them leads to an instant death.
      • When you switch the light to change states ensure you are not inside of a block location in the other world or you will die.
      • Falling off platform leads to death.
    • Hazard signs – hazard signs are a bit tricky. They indicate something is amiss, but do not indicate which way. They can indicate that the ground you see is not real & you can fall through it, or that there is ground that does not show.

      • You beat a level by safely making it to the flag at the end of the stage.

    • When you have to switch light states a single time on a vertical jump try to switch when you are near the peak of your jump to avoid the risk of being inside a block on switching.
    • If you have to switch worlds in the middle of a horizontal jump it can make sense to get in midair and switch the light state just before you would run into spikes or a platform. It can make sense to move the opposite direction you eventually want to go before jumping so that you get a running start on such jumps.
    • If you have to switch states multiple times during a jump it can make sense to use a finger from the second hand to control the down arrow key.
