• Starting the Game
  • Press the play button at the bottom center of the welcome screen to start the game.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for settings and game developer information.
    • The settings button allows you to erase game progress, control game sound, and control game music.

  • Basics
    • This is a gem collecting game where you have to wake up the slime by dropping it from high up.
      • Position the slime so it has a long fall and will wake, and ensure it is facing the direction you want it to run initially.
      • Collect all 3 gems to complete each stage.
    • Avoid running into any hazards.
      • Spikes – spikes can appear on the floors or walls.
        • Touch spikes and you’ll die.
        • You can jump over spikes on the floor.
        • You can’t jump around spikes on a wall, so you need to plan your route so that you collect all 3 gems without running into the spiked wall.
      • Fire – If you run into fire while your normal orange color you die.
        • Collect the potion to turn blue.
        • On some stages if you die you’ll start the replay blue if you collected the potion on a prior play of the level, making it easier to beat.
      • Arrows – starting on level 18 you’ll face arrows that shoot out of walls.
        • Jump over them or plan your path to avoid them altogether.

    • This game has 49 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a stage by collecting all 3 gems on it.
      • You lose a stage if you run into fire without having active potion, run into spikes, or get hit by a flying arrow.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
      • If you get stuck on a level you can use the skip button in the upper right to by it.
  • Tips
    • Where you drop the slime & the direction the slime is facing impacts where the slime will go.
      • Some areas high up are hard or impossible to get back to, so it often makes sense to clear higher parts of the level first.
      • In some cases where you will quickly need to jump off a wall to be able to double jump higher it makes sense to face the slime in the opposite direction you ultimately want it to go.
    • Jump advice
      • Some levels require you to make wide jumps.
        • You may need to be a bit off platform long when you initiate the jumps to make these.
      • Some levels have a series of small platforms you have to jump across.
        • Jumping early onto the start of the sequence gives you more time to react for each subsequent jump in the chain.
      • On some jumps you hit your head on the roof above spikes, requiring you to have exceptional timing not to run into the spikes.
        • Plan your route to minimize the number of times you have to cross challenging areas of the stage.
    • If you get stuck on a level you can use the skip button to get past it & then come back to it later after beating all the remaining levels.
