• Starting the Game

    • This is a classic platforming game where you have to make it to the red flag at the end of each stage.
    • Magical eggs
      • On each stage you get 10 magic eggs to assist you in your journey.
      • Eggs may be used to break wood crates and activate switches to open gates.
      • Eggs can ricochet off walls. Eggs last for a period of time / distance traveled, or until they run into a red spike.
    • Game features
      • Fixed platforms – you can walk or jump across these.
        • Your eggs have no impact on them.
      • Gates – stages have gates which block your path to the exit.
        • Activate switches to open the gates.
        • Some stages have multiple gates on them.
      • Switches – levels have switches on them which open the closed doors or gates.
        • Step on a switch or hit it with a magical egg to activate it.
        • Some switches are hidden behind boxes.
      • Breakable crates – these wood blocks are destroyed whenever they are touched by eggs.
        • You have to destroy boxes strategically to enable yourself a clear path through an area while also ensuring you do not destroy boxes that you need to stand on to reach a higher platform.
      • Red boxes – these are not destroyable.
        • Eggs that are thrown into them bounce off them and change direction.
      • Spikes – most of these are fixed positions, though some also move.
        • If you run into any of these you immediately die.
        • You have to be careful not to break crates you need to stand on to avoid touching spikes.
        • When jumping over moving spikes it is best to jump when they are moving the opposite direction you are so you have greater clearance over them.
      • Springs – these allow you to jump higher.
        • You can not throw eggs while you are on a spring jump.
  • Levels
    • This game has 30 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win a level by making it to the red flag at the end of the stage.
      • You lose a level if you run into a red spike.
        • If you lose a level the game automatically restarts it from the beginning.

      • You can also get stuck by either
        • running out of eggs while still needing to break through bricks or activate a switch to open a gate
        • accidentally destroying wood crates you need to step on as platforms to reach higher areas
      • If you get stuck press the reset button in the upper right to restart the level.
      • If you get stuck on a level you can press the pause button then click the view ad button on the pause overlay to skip to the next level.
  • Tips
    • On levels where there is a one square gap in the floor you can run across the gap to skip over it without falling into it.
    • Shoot from nearby
      • The closer you are to your target the easier it is to make your shot at an angle that works for you.
      • The less movement you have associated with your shot the easier it is to make.
        • If you can make a standing shot rather than a jump shot go for the standing shot.
        • If you can set yourself up to make a straight horizontal shot rather than needing to make an angle on the shot it is better to shoot straight.
      • When shooting into wooden boxes where you need to climb some of them it can make sense to use a higher angle closer to 70% so that you leave some boxes to stand on.
        • If you shoot a bit high there will still often be a box you can stand on in the far side, but if you shoot a bit low you won’t have the boxes needed to jump up to the next area.
    • Activating switches
      • If you can not find switch locations and a gate is stuck consider jumping as high as you can to see if the switch is on the ceiling & break more wood crates than you need to in order to see if the switch was hiding behind any of them.
      • Some switches can require a ricochet or multiple ricochets to hit.
      • On level 14 you have to hit the switch near the exit in the top from the platform below. This can take many attempts, including jump shots that ricochet multiple times to hit the button.
      • Consider the ricochet angle. On some stages (like 23) it makes sense to walk past buttons and shoot them from the far side so that the ricochet of your egg does not break a crate you need to stand on.
