• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.

  • Basics
    • This is a platformer where you play as a dynamic duo aiming to rescue all the diamonds on each stage.
    • Both characters have the same movements, though each can only collect the diamonds which are the same color they are.
    • Switching characters
      • You can switch between characters.
      • When you do the inactive character freeze frames in place.
      • This allows you to use characters as temporary platforms for each other to stand on in order to reach far away places & make long or high jumps.
  • Thumbtacks
    • As you advance through the game many levels have thumbtacks starting at level 10 onward.
    • There are 3 thumbtack colors: gray, green, and red.
      • Gray thumbtacks are always active & they destroy any characters which touch them.
      • Green thumbtacks are only active when the green character is active. Green thumbtacks can only destroy the green character.
      • Red thumbtacks are only active when the red character is active. Red thumbtacks can only destroy the red character.
  • Switches
    • Starting on level 20 most of the remaining stages have red switches on them.
    • Activating the red switch turns solid walls consisting of regular squares gray (so you can walk through them) while turning gray walls solid.
    • You can repeatedly activate and deactivate switches back and forth, having characters through a temporary wall, then altering the switch status while the character is in midair.
    • If you step on 2 switches at the same time it is like no switch has been stepped on.
  • Levels
    • This game has 30 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by safely collecting all the diamonds on it.
      • You lose a level if either character runs into thumbtacks which harm them.
      • This game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of any level you lost.
  • Tips
    • Collecting order
      • Some diamonds are easier to collect while others are harder to collect. It typically makes sense to collect the easiest diamonds first.
      • Some levels have diamonds high up which must be collected before diamonds lower down the level near spikes. Be sure to collect the higher diamonds on level 25 before collecting the lower ones.
      • The level automatically ends as soon as you collect the last diamond, so save the hardest diamond for last.
    • Long thumbtack sequences
      • Multiple levels have long sequences of red or green thumbtacks.
      • The way to beat these is:
        • collect any easy other diamonds on the level first, then…
        • have the character which matches the thumbtack color jump outward
        • switch to the second brother which does not match the color of the thumbtacks
        • move the second brother under the first and then jump upward
        • freeze frame back to the color matching the thumbtack color & jump outward again
        • repeat the other steps until you can jump out or up to the diamond
    • Switches
      • The key to effectively using switches is to that you can freeze a player’s positioning while the other brother alternates the switch status.
      • On some stages you will need to bring one player around to where the switch is so that they can then operate the switch for the other player.
      • On some stages you need to alternate which players are activating the switch back and forth to allow both to collect diamonds that were blocked by temporary walls.
