• Starting the Game

    • Use your mouse left click button to select an open stone & then select an identically matching open stone to remove the pair from the board.

    • Identical matching
      • In this game all stone matches must be identical in value and design.
    • Open stones
      • Only open stones can be matched.
      • Open stones have no stone on top of them and at least one side (left or right) is free of adjacent stones.
      • This game highlights open stones with a lighter background color, whereas stones that are not open have a darker tile background color.
      • Only open stones can be selected. When you select an open stone its background color is highlighted in a light red until you have paired it off.
  • Levels
    • This game has 100 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
    • Each level has a unique board layout and level timer.
      • The first stage gives you 1:54 to beat it.
      • The level timer grows longer as the boards grow more complex as you move through the game. By the time you get to level 11 the timer increases to 2:47.
      • If you play quickly you will generally score more points on each level as you progress through the levels since later levels have more tiles to match and give you a longer time limit to based your time bonus on.
    • You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a better score on them.
    • You beat a level by clearing all stones from it before the timer runs out.
      • If no valid matches remain and reshuffling will create a valid match the game will automatically shuffle the stones.
        • This means that if the tiles do not shuffle at least one valid open match remains on the board.
      • If all remaining stones are in a single column then the level is considered beat even if you did not clear all stones from the stage, since no more possible valid moves can be made available.
  • Strategy
    • Whenever possible try to match from the widest rows and deepest columns to open up the playing field.
    • Play quickly as most of your game score will be from bonus time if you are great at these types of games.
  • Scoring
    • Your game score is cumulative across levels.
    • Scoring points
      • Each tile pair you make is worth 100 points.
      • Each second you have remaining when you beat a level is worth 30 points.
    • Spending points
      • Taking a hint costs 150 points.
      • Manually shuffling tiles costs 500 points.
