• Starting the Game
  • Select the PLAY button on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Select the virtual cartridge on the welcome screen and slide it down to start the game.

    • Use your mouse left click button to destroy the Goombas, Boos, Bomb-ombs, & Bullet Bills.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to destroy the Goombas, Boos, Bomb-ombs, & Bullet Bills.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Your score is shown in the top center of the screen.
    • Your health is shown as a number of heart containers in the upper right corner.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • In this game enemies come out of the pipes in the screen & then move right across the screen. When the enemies reach the right side of the screen they then come down and out of the device where the buttons were.
    • Your job is to protect your thumb by fighting off the enemies when they come out of buttons.
      • You can hit 2 enemies at the same time if they are on top of each other or closely adjacent on the same row.
    • You start the game with 3 hearts or lives & each time you get hit you lose a life.
  • Enemy types
    • Goombas – the most common enemy, which moves horizontally
      • There are multiple variations of Goombas
        • brown – standard slow movement
        • red with horn – moves fast
        • stack of 3 – you have to defeat each of the 3 enemies one at a time
        • blue – periodically pauses and puts spikes out. You take damage if you attack while the spikes are out.
    • Boos – the ghosts can change which row they are on.
    • Bomb-omb – you have to select it and drag it back to the top button location.
    • Bullet Bill – you have to keep hitting the bullets which are fired at you. Each time this appears you have 3 bullets in a row you must destroy.
  • Scoring
    • Most enemies you defeat are worth 100 points each.
    • Bullet Bills & Boos are worth 200 points each.
